Clair Alfred Anderson, 75, of Hanford, Calif., formerly of Emery, passed away June 23, 2005. He was born Dec. 24, 1938 in Emery to Alfred Marion and Mabel Jacobson Anderson. He married Shirley Ann Minugh June 6, 1996 in Armona, Calif.

He was an avionic engineer with the federal government for many years, He is also an Army veteran.

His survivors include wife, of Hanford, Calif.; children, Clarice LaMont of Lebanon, Ore.; Rita Lunden of San Lorenzo, Calif.; brother, Dean Anderson of Gunnison; sisters, Renee Cupples of East Carbon City; Oreen Sawyer and Roma Cooper of Evanston, Wyo.; four grandsons and two great-grandsons. He is preceded in death by parents; brothers, Marl and Roy Anderson; and sister, LaRue Reed.

Services and viewing were held at Magleby Mortuary in Richfield on June 30. Graveside service was held in Emery on July 1. Burial in the Emery Cemetery.
