HAMMOND, IN

Adele Kray (nee Furgal), age 84, of Hammond, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2011.
She is survived by her son, Gerald P. Kray; three sisters-in-law: Mary Krajewski, Ann (late Clarence) Dumke, and Valerie (late John) Krajewski; one brother-in-law, Frank Kray; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Kray on January 18, 2011; infant daughter, Peggy Kray; parents: Ambrose and Katherine Furgal; and sisters: Ludmilla Hupke, Virginia Szymonik, and Evelyn Grzywacz.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. at the Anthony & Dziadowicz Funeral Home, 4404 Cameron Ave. (two blocks east of Hohman, one block north of Gostlin) for a 10:00 a.m. Mass at St. Casimir Church with Rev. Vladimir Janeczek officiating. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery,Calumet City, IL.
Visitation Friday, February 18, 2011 from 3:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Kray was a graduate of Hammond Technical School. She was a former member of the St. Casimir Ladies Rosary Society. Adele was a coach for the St. Casimir Girls Basketball and Volleyball teams for 13 years. She was a championship swimmer, and also loved sports and baking. The Hammond Mohawks will hold services Friday at 6:00 p.m.
