Born Jan. 27, 1890, in Montgomery, Ala., he was the son of Daniel and Nancy Loy Shaneyfelt. He was married to Nell Runyon Shaneyfelt, who survives at home.
He was a retired foreman at Superior Coach Corp.
Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Trueblood of Portland, Ind., and Mrs. Gertrude Gorslin of Vicksburg, Mich.; and two brothers, Adam of Portland, Ind. and John of Union City, Ind.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Siferd Main Street Chapel, with Rev. Willard Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7-9 p.m. today and Wednesday and until time of services on Thursday.
