Sarah Adelaide DAVIS was born in Kasota Township, Le Sueur County, Minnesota daughter of Orange Runnell DAVIS Jr. and Olive Alzina PETTIS DAVIS.

Married John Douglas HERITAGE on 5 March 1879 at St. Peter, Nicollet County, Minnesota (by George McAfee, Pastor of Union Presbyterian Church). They moved to California in the early 1920's.


They had 4 children:

1. Daisy Olive HERITAGE

2. Albert Douglas HERITAGE

3. Hazel Marguerite 'Margaret' HERITAGE

4. Katie HERITAGE (died as an infant)
