Three Killed In Accident Near Accident
WALLACE, Idaho CUP)— One Idahoan and two former Montana
residents were killed Sunday night when the automobile in which they
were riding skidded on highway 10 west of Mullan and crashed into a concrete bridge abutment. Dead were Esther Blomberg and
Amelia Commers Girls, both 24-year-old Wallace waitresses, and
Roy Melville, 30. Mullan. Their deaths boosted Shoshone county's
1943 traffic fatality toll to seven. Investigating officers reported
Miss Blomberg- apparently was driver of the machine. They said
the vehicle was demolished. The two women had resided in
Wallace only a short time, both having come here' three months
ago from Montana. Melville was a soldier-miner who was given furlough
from the Army in September to work in Mullan district mines
