DIES; RITES SUNDAY

Mrs. Stephen A. (Emma) Ooton, 62, of 2064 E. Whitmer Street died in Decatur and
Macon County Hospital at 6 a.m. today.

She was born in Worden August 11, 1905, a daughter of William and Amelia Schmidt
Blotevogel.

A member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Mrs. Ooton had lived in Decatur for 12
years.

She married Stephen A. Ooton in Edwardsville Oct. 11, 1924. He survives.

She also leaves two sons, Charles L. and Samuel K., both of Decatur; two
daughters, Mrs. James (Lorraine) Birmingham of Decatur and Mrs. Alfred (Eileen)
Peters of Orlando, Fla.; four brothers, George, Edward, and Walter, all of
Worden, and Fred of Carpenter; and ten grandchildren. Three brothers and one
sister preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in the Williamson Funeral Home,
Worden, with burial in the Lutheran Cemetery, Worden. Friends may call from 7
to 9 p.m. today in the Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, and after 6. p.m. Saturday
in the Williamson Funeral Home.
