THOMAS P. BEALL
---Thomas P. Beall, eighty-one years old, died at his farm home about four miles southeast of La Plata on Wednesday morning, May 6, 1931, after an illness of several months.
---Mr. Beall was born October 30, 1849 at Elrod, Ripley County, Indiana, the son of Joseph and Eleanor Beall. He came to Missouri forty years ago and has lived on the farm on which he died, for the past thirty-five years. On October 12, 1879 he was married to Sarah Amarukka Johnson and to this union seven children were born, four of whom, with their mother, survive. They are Mrs. Bertha A. Jenkins, La Plata, Mrs. Linnie B. Cole, Marceline, Damon W. Beall, La Plata and Lonnie O. Beall of Dallas City, Illinois. He also leaves eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
---Funeral services were held at the family home this afternoon, May 7, conducted by Rev. Walter M. Mundell, pastor of the La Plata Christian Church. Interment was in La Plata cemetery.
