Max C King was the son of German born Friedrich Wilhelm "Fritz" Keng and Texas born Julia Ann Middleton (Findagrave memorial #4963085). He may have been born in Blue Ridge, Collin County, Texas. He had many half-siblings from Fritz' earlier marriage. His brother Charles (or Charley, b. 1878 or 1879), originally thought to be yet another of six half-brothers, is now believed to have been his only full brother -- probably named after Julia's sister Mary Ann Middleton King's husband, Charles P F King (Findagrave memorial #25002394). Indeed, Max's middle name may have been Charles as well. Max's Texas Department of Health death certificate indicates that he was married to Cora whose surname is unknown (possibly beginning with the "N" given as her middle initial on a 1920 census). That census, if correct for this Max and Cora, indicates they had a daughter named Ula (later determined to be Eula or Erna born abt. 1908) whose married name is believed to be Sandefer.
