Limavady in the county of Londonderry (Called Derry) also a town called Londonderry City. I sent Dick (probably Dick Campbell of MN) a copy of a map with Limavady marked. (Grandfather) Edward Augustus Campbell - Argyllshire clan Born in Limavady (near Derry Northern Ireland) Feb 1808. Mothers name Betty Ann Wilson daughter of Allen Wilson. There were 3 brothers Patrick, William in linen business. James, Latin teacher and a sister Fannie who married a McFarland in Elgin Illinois. Family lived in Chicago for years, offspring still do. William visited in Forest City and Litchfifield when I was very young.
We have a photo of him. Edward A Campbell was the youngest. Came to Philadelphia about 1834. Learned and followed plumbing and gas fifitting trade. Married Elizabeth Mills (called Bessie) in 1837. She was born in Fintona, County Tyrone, Ireland where her father Robin Mills, Captain in the British Army, a customs offificer, was stationed. Family moved to Rutland, Kane County, Illinois, in 1842. Purchased a farm near Elgin, Kane, Illinois (now town of Gilbert) where Eliza Mills is buried. She died in 1849 leaving five children:

Son - William came to Minnesota in 1858 to Forest City and Grandfather Edward followed in 1860 by Oxteam.
