Catherine C. Campbell was born in Litchfield, Minnesota, the daughter of Edward and Catherine Campbell. Catherine C. graduated from Minnesota normal school in St. Cloud, Minnesota, and taught school in St. Paul. She married James Francis Kilduff in St. Paul in 1895. They moved to Malta, Montana, in 1902. They had two sons, John Francis, born August 9, 1903, and Edward Campbell, born April 5,1905. Catherine and James Francis Kilduff both died in Kansas City, Missouri, James on December 9, 1938. Both are buried next to each other in Calvary Cemetery in St. Paul.
