Martha Jane was the daughter of Elmer RAMSEY and Lillian A. (Robinson) RAMSEY. She married Wendell Payton and they lived in the Oklahoma City area, and later in the Norman area.
They raised four children: Janie, Toni, Terry and Shelly Payton.
Martha liked sports, OU football, and bowling and enjoyed life until she couldn't go anymore, her illness preventing it.
She always stepped in as a caregiver to her family and her husband's when it was needed. She loved her family, kids and grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Donnie Ramsey. Survived by her husband, Wendell of the home; her four children, and nine grandchildren.
