Lake Sinclair – Margie D. Thompson, age 88, died Thursday at Abbey Hospice in Social Circle.
Mrs. Thompson, born in Houston County, had lived at Lake Sinclair 40 years. She was the widow of Johnnie Morgan Thompson, Sr., a homemaker and Baptist.
Survivors are her children, Margie Nell Gill and Eddie Ruth Thompson of Lake Sinclair Johnnie M. Thompson, Jr. of Sparta, Ann T. Duggan of Cochran, Joel D. Thompson of Hilo, HI, Sara P. Thompson of Madison and Michael L. Thompson of Atlanta; brother, Kenneth Davidson; half-brother, Dennis Davidson; fourteen grandchildren and twenty three great grandchildren.
