NEW ALBANY - Marvis Chloe Crumpton, 71, died Friday at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo after a long illness. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at United Funeral Service with burial in New Albany Cemetery. She was a member of Cleveland Street Associate Reform Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Crumpton, the wife of Rupert L. Crumpton, also leaves two daughters, Gloria Lynn Wilkerson of Blue Mountain and Glenda Lou Brotherton of New Albany; two sons, Robert Lynwood Crumpton of Tupelo and David Allan Crumpton of Aberdeen; three sisters, Mrs. Ralph 'Mickey' Laukhuff and Ilene Grohman, both of Memphis, and Alice O'Bannon of New Orleans, three grandchildren and four stepgrandchildren.
