According to her 1867 death record in Florida, she was born in Rowe. The 1865 Mass. census records (when Molly was aged 82y living in Florida, Mass.) states Molly as being born in Charlemont, Mass. Could not find her birth in any records under various spellings.
She is indexed as "Milly Kemp" in her death record. Of note is she died the very same day that several people suffocated in the Hoosac Tunnel.
Parents' names aren't given in death nor marriage record; according to a family tree on ancestry.com that includes a photo, Molly was born 6 Aug 1782 in Charlemont, Mass.,
the dau of Solomon Hartwell (1739-1805) & Abigail (Davis) Hartwell (1741–1834)
