ANDERSON - Lucile Anderson, 79, died Friday in Albuquerque where she had been living with her niece Dora L. Sylvester for the past six months. She had been a past resident for 39 years of Phoenix, AZ.
She is survived by her nieces, Mary Margaret Johnson, Ft. Wayne, IN; Alice M. Babbitt, Paxton, NB; Melva B. Anderson, Murphy, CA; Zora A. Yoder, Blue Hill, NB; Glenna Fearing, San Antonio, TX; Ruth Reichel, Lake Havasu City, AZ; Peggy Ribbing, Denver, CO; Mary Beth Hurd, Lakewood, CO; and Mary L. Davidson, Ft. Collins, Co: and nephews, Joe V. Anderson, Kiel, WI; R. Howard Anderson, York, NB; Frank N Anderson, Mitchell, NB and Roscoe M Anderson, El Cajon, CA.
She graduated from Hastings College, Hastings, NB, class of 1927 and University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ, class of 1934. She taught school in Nebraska, Tucson, and Arizona from 1945 - 1970 at Phoenix Union High School. She was a member of Memorial Presbyterian Church, Phoenix, YWCA, Heard Museum Association, and the Women's Club of Phoenix. She was also a docent for 20 years at the Phoenix Art Museum.
Graveside services will be held Monday at the Wilsonville Cemetery, Wilsonville, NB with Donell D. Sylvester officiating. Memorial services will be held Thursday at Memorial Presbyterian Church, Phoenix, with Reverend John Fredrick officiating. French Mortuary, 1111 University, NE
