Dee - Arla Faye Dee, 53, passed away Sunday morning in a local hospital. A native of Slocum, Texas Owner and operator of Beauty By Beverly Beauty Shop. Survived by two daughters, Margaret Ann Hammer of Houston, and Beverly Patrice Shearer of Humble, one son James Edward Dee, Jr. of Grapeland; three sisters Mrs. Rudy Wright Elkhart, Texas. Billie Jean Hamilton of Elkhart, and Mildred Rankin of Palestine, Texas. one brother Doyle Hamilton of Elkhart. Funeral services will be 2:00 P M Tuesday from Brookside Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Joe Silvio, pastor of Lakeview Park Baptist Chruch officiating BROOKSIDE FUNERAL HOME, Eastex Freeway at Lauder Road 449-6511
