Mrs. Emily Burkhart of 302 Main St., Gallitzin, died at 4:30 a.m. Sunday at her home. She was born July 19, 1893, a daughter of John and Margaret (Williamson) Helman, and married William H. Burkhart, who died Jan. 27, 1948.
Surviving are three children, Howard and Mrs. Catherine Bender of Gallitzin and George of Cresson, 13 grand children, two great-grandchildren and two brothers, Abbott of Altoona and John of Gallitizin.
She was a member of the Gallitzin Methodist Church.
Friends are being received in the Skupien Funeral Home, Gallitzin.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Gallitzin Methodist Church by the Rev. Dubs W. Logan. Interment will be made in the Union Cemetery.
