Ida Jane Parrish, 86, of Arma died at 3:40 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, 1985, at the Heritage Nursing Home in Girard. She was born March 22, 1899 near Drywood to William and May (Nickell) Elliott. She grew up in the rural Arcadia area, and she married Walter Parrish March 15, 1921 in Girard. They lived near Welch, Okla. for 19 years before returning to live in Crawford County in the 1940's. She was a member of the Arcadia Christian Church and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star at Arcadia for many years.
