Ruth Falls Carroll, 86, 148-B Lewis St., Harrisonburg, died July
19, 1996, at Bridgewater Home, where she was admitted earlier in
the day. She had not been in good health for the past year.

Mrs. Carroll was born Nov. 6, 1909, in Harrisonburg and was a
daughter of the late John L. and Bessie Jenkins Falls.

She had lived in Pennsylvania, but she spent most of her life in
Harrisonburg. She was a member of the Salvation Army Corps, the
Price-Rotary Senior Citizens and The Home League.

She was preceded in death by husbands, Holmes Seabright and
Frank Carroll.

Surviving are one son, Holmes "Tex" Carroll, Harrisonburg; two
sisters, Ethel Coffman, Hinton, and Martha Falls, Harrisonburg;
one brother, Everett Falls, Singers Glen; and two grandchildren.

Captains Allen and Melinda Johnson will conduct the funeral
at 2 p.m. today at the Salvation Army Chapel.

Burial will follow in Woodbine Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army, P.O. Box 546,
Harrisonburg.

Arrangements are by the Lindsey Harrisonburg Funeral Home.
