Ethel Mae Coffman, 95, Dayton passed away May 30, 2017 at her home.

Mrs. Coffman was born on December 22, 1921 in Rockingham County and was the daughter of the late John and Bessie Jenkins Falls. She worked at Howard Johnsons Hotel, was a homemaker and enjoys raising her children and grandchildren. She attended the Salvation Army for over 75 years.

Her companion of 65 years Clarence Gilmer preceded her in death March 24, 2011.

Surviving are two children, Carolyn Albino and husband Edwin and James Coffman and wife Kathy and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and two special granddaughters, Carol Romano and Tina Bowling. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Edward Falls and her daughter, Peggy Fix.

A graveside service will be held Saturday morning at 11a.m. at Clover Hill Cemetery with Reverend Isaac Harper officiating.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7-8p.m. at the McMullen Funeral Home.
