Dorothy Haynie Glass McElwaney died January 28, 2011, at Wills Memorial Hospital, Washington, Georgia.

She was born April 17, 1912 in Atlanta, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Andrew Haynie, and her husband William Hulon Glass.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Gay and Frank Stiteler, grandchildren Ron, Ronda and her husband Mike, Sam and his wife Ellen, four great grandchildren Curtis, Amber,Beau and Jake, brother and sister-in-law Robert and Rubye Haynie, nephew and and wife Bob and Karen Haynie and several great nephews and nieces.

She was the oldest member of Stewart Avenue Methodist Church, serving several years as president of her Sunday school class, the Florence Shatzer class. She worked at the downtown Rich's department store for 23 years until her retirement.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at Westview Cemetery with Rev.Steve Davidson officiating.
