Florence (Patterson) HILDENBRAND was married twice: (1) Thomas L. PENDERGRAFT (2) Abraham HILDENBRAND. She is buried next to her first husband. The last name on her gravestone is PENDERGRAFT (instead of HILDENBRAND).


OBITUARY

Funeral services for Mrs. Florence HILDENBRAND, 76, long-time resident of Canadian, were held at the First Baptist Church in Canadian with the Rev. Dinzel Leonard, pastor, in charge of the rites.

Burial was in the Canadian Cemetery under direction of Stickley-Hill Funeral Home.

Mrs. HILDENBRAND died March 2, 1978 at the Hemphill County Hospital.

She was born December 17, 1900 at San Marcos.

Surviving her are her husband, Abe HILDENBRAND of the home, two sons, Tom and Jack PENDERGRAFT, both of Amarillo; a daughter, Mrs. Nila June HUNTER of Lubbock; two step-sons, Henry HILDENBRAND of Seattle, Washington and Harry HILDENBRAND of Perryton; three step-daughters, Mrs. Esther McADOO of Pampa, Mrs. Ruth STABEL of Booker and Mrs. Lola MALCOLM of Odessa; a sister, Mrs. Maggie RANCH of Indianapolis, four brothers, Kenneth PATTERSON of Arkansas and J. P. PATTERSON, Carter PATTERSON and Melvin PATTERSON, all of California and seven grandchildren.

Pallbearers for the funeral rites were Vance STICKLEY, Tom ABRAHAM, Earl RHEA, Buddy HOBDY, R. E. GEORGE and Hilmer KOCH.
