He was a retired Port of Entry inspector and farmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife Eva E. Bucknell of Belleville, and two sisters, Frances Tainter of Olathe, and Wilma Bucknell of Salina.
Graveside services and burial will be at a later date at the Rose Mound Cemetery, rural Hardy, Neb.
There will be no visitation. Bachelor-Faulkner-Dart-Surber Funeral Home, Belleville, is in charge of arrangements.
