Louise M. Bucher, 68, Rt. 2, Akron, died Wednesday, April 27, 1983, at Miller's Merry Manor in Warsaw, after a long illness.

She was born in Kosciusko County on May 29, 1914, the daughter of Charles and Bernice Blue Leininger.

On March 21, 1937, she married Charles Edward Bucher, and he survives, along with three sons, Charles of Fort Wayne, Phillip of Daleville, and Paul of Pendleton; a sister, Eleanor Malott of North Manchester; a brother, Kermit Leininger of Fort Wayne; seven grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and eight stepgreat-grandchildren. A daughter is deceased.

Mrs. Bucher was a cook for the Beaver Dam and Akron schools until her retirement in 1979. She was a member of the Beaver Dam United Methodist Church, the WSCS and Ladies Aid of the church, and the Akron Amicus Club.

Services will be at the Beaver Dam United Methodist Church, with Rev. Wayne Johnson and the Rev. Peggy Jeffries officiating. Burial will be in Akron Cemetery.
