George was the son of Michael Becker and Katherine Amback. On 27 Jul 1911 he married Catherine L. Gutmann and they had six children: Catherine, Henrietta, Mary, Elizabeth, George and John. George was a farmer by trade, sometimes for himself and sometimes for others. He died of a massive gastro-intestinal hemorrhage after undergoing an operation. He was 68 years old.
