Mrs. Barnard was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a dear friend to many. Mrs. Barnard was born in Skylight, Ky., and lived in Cincinnati before moving to Alabama. She was a member of The Rock Family Worship Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Boggess Barnard.
Mrs. Barnard is survived by her daughters, Phyllis Jean Huie and her husband Robert of Decatur and Mary Jo Morgan and her husband Donald of Huntsville; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; as well as a number of extended family members, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Valhalla Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at The Rock Family Worship Center. The body will lie in repose from one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be at Faith Memorial Park.
