Helen Bubnack, 98, formerly of Baldwinsville, passed away Friday. Born in Newark, NY, she was raised in Minoa and attended Minoa High School. Helen was employed by the Navy Department in Albany and by the Department of Social Services in Onondaga County. She was a communicant of both St. Mary's Church in Baldwinsville and the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. She was predeceased by her sisters, Mary and Sue, and by her brothers, Harry (Jen), John, Stephen, Joseph, Paul, Peter and Michael. Survivors: two brothers, Frank and Don (Regina) Bubnack, and several nieces and nephews. Services: 9 a.m. Tuesday at GIMINSKI-WYSOCKI FUNERAL HOME and 9:30 a.m. at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Interment: St. John Ukrainian Cemetery. Friends may call upon the family from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday at 1320 W. Genesee Street.
