Irene was the 4th child born to Francis Marion and Nancy Jane (Snyder) Gaddis. She married Lee Roy Brewington 11 Dec 1901. The couple had eight children, namely, Anna Irene, Ruth Jeannette, Donald Gaddis, Wayne Leroy, Laura Bernice, Mary Christina, Wesley Eugene and Hattie Louise. The couple divorced and Irene later married Charles Wesley Stevens. They had no children together.
