A man accused of choking and fatally stabbing his stepmother had been kicked out of their Lawnside home for behavior his parents would "not tolerate," officials said Wednesday.

Adeniyi Bob-Grey, 21, of Willingboro, appeared for a murder arraignment in Superior Court in Camden County, where he was ordered held on $1 million bail in the death of Hawa Bob-Grey, 33, of the 300 block of Sadler Avenue.

Hawa Bob-Grey, 33, of Lawnside, died Tuesday May 11, 2010 at her home. She was born and raised in Freetown, Sierra Leone. Hawa came to the United States when she was 20 years old and resided in Franklin Twshp and for the last 6 years has been a resident of Lawnside. She attended Camden County College and graduated from Delaware Technical Institute of Health Science. Hawa was employed as an LPN with Avista Care of Cherry Hill and was previously an LPN with Deborah Heart and Lung.

She is survived by her husband, Adonis W. Bob-Grey, two daughters, Zainis and Adonista Bob-Grey and four sisters, Ayodele Diamond, Alice Banya, Fanta Deen and Hawa Mahoi.

Funeral Services will be held 10:00 Saturday May 22, 2010 at United Methodist Church at New Brunswick. The Rev Dr. Gregory B. Young, Pastor of the Church will officiate.

Burial will be in Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick.

Calling hours will be held from 6:00 to 9:00pm Friday May 21, 2010 at the M. J. Murphy Funeral Home at 616 Ridge Road at New Road Monmouth Junction and from 8:00 to 10:00am Saturday May 22, 2010 at United Methodist Church at New Brunswick, 323 George St, New Brunswick.
