Helen M. Quirk, 77, 206 N. Martin Ave., died Monday at Fountainview Place nursing home following an extended illness. She was the widow of Robert G. Quirk.
A native of Delaware County, Mrs. Quirk attended Whittier School and Muncie Business College. She was formerly employed at Neumode Hosiery Company. Mrs. Quirk was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and Delaware Post 19, American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Bailey, Muncie, Mrs. Martha Hoffer, Milwaukee, Wis., and Mrs. Rachel Joyce, Indianapolis; a son, Jerry Quirk, Muncie; two brothers, Clifford Conn, Fort Wayne, and Paul Conn, Muncie; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Meeks Mortuary, with Rev. Stanley Peterson, pastor of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. today, or prior to services Wednesday.
