Thomas A. Bogan, 77, Passes Away Here
Thomas Augustus Bogan, well known resident of this section, who was held in high esteem by a wide circle of friends, passed away at his home on Babbott Ave. Thursday, age 77. He was born in the town of Marshall, September 8, 1853, where he resided until 10 years ago, when he moved to Waterville: While a resident of the town of Marshall, he was engaged in fanning. November 22, 1882, he was married to Ellen Connors at Waterville. The deceased was a member of St. Bernard's Church and the Holy Name Society connected with the church. Besides his widow, he is survived by two sons, John, of Utica, and William T., of Waterville, and two grand children. The funeral was held Saturday morning at 9:30 from St. Bernard's Church and interment was in St. Bernard's Cemetery.
