Our loving wife, mother, daughter, and grandmother returned to her Heavenly Father on Feb. 2, 2011 surrounded by what mattered most to her, family.
Born Oct. 26, 1956 in Scotia, CA, to Vernon T. and Nina Joy Hoopes-Cloward. She grew up in Granger, Utah. On Feb. 14, 1975 she married her Eternal companion, James L. Lloyd, in the Salt Lake Temple.
She served in several callings in the LDS Church. Her passions include being with her family, going to the property, coaching the Jazz, quilting, trying new recipes, being outdoors, waterskiing, riding 4-wheelers, and her new Camaro. Family was always her first priority and she adored her grandbabies.
She will be sorely missed by all whose lives she touched with her love.
Survived by her husband, James; four children, Jamilee (Micheal) Checketts, JeniLyn (Tony) Kruletz, Derek (Sasha) Lloyd and Daren (Megan) Lloyd; five grandchildren, Shailee, Trevin, Jamison, Ashton Checketts, Parker Lloyd, and two on the way; her mother, Nina Cloward (Ray) Christiansen; sister, KelliDee (Dean) George; brother, Tom (Carin) Cloward; and many loved ones.
Preceded in death by her father, Vernon, her grandparents, father-in-law, and grandbaby, Micheal.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Riverton 14th Ward, 13200 So. 1454 W. Friends may call Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Broomhead Funeral Home 12600 So. 2200 W. and Tuesday one hour prior to services at the church.
