After an illness of many months, Mrs. Katherine Forquer passed away last Saturday at her home, 1416 Twelfth street. For about 18 years, Mrs. Forquer had lived in this vicinity and was much loved by all who knew her. She was born in Canada 50 years ago and spent several years in Iowa before coming to Colorado. Mrs. Forquer is survived by seven children: Mrs. M. McIndoo, Mrs. Bird, Michael, Phillip, Katherine, Ellen, and Rosie. She also leaves five brothers, Jack, Michael, James, Steve and Joe O'Grady, and three sisters, Mrs. W.W. Fisher, Mrs. Mary Cahill, and Mrs. John Young. Funeral services were conducted this morning at the Catholic church by Father A.B. Casey, and interment was made in Linn Grove cemetery. [Unknown Source]
