Businessman. Founded the internationally known Montgomery Inn restaurants. The son of Greek immigrants, he wound up having three former presidents calling him by his first name. He became close friends with Bob Hope and had ribs delivered each week to Hope's Palm Springs home. He was known for his sense of humor, his trademark cigars and a fondness for wearing a crown as the "Ribs King".
