DEATH OF WELL-KNOWN DOCTOR.
Lafayette Lodge, Free and Accepted Masons, will be in charge of the funeral, Tuesday, at 2:30 p.m., for Dr. Samuel W. French, 67, who died Saturday night in his home, 1216 Grand Ave. Ivanhoe commandery will act as escort to Forest Home cemetery. Born in Canada, Dr. French came to Wisconsin after being graduated from the Harvard medical school about thirty years ago. He was one of the founders of Emergency Hospital.
Besides his widow, he leaves one daughter, Mrs. Louis Quarles, Milwaukee, and two sons, Louis O. and Samuel L., Milwaukee. The latter is in the officers' reserve at Plattsburg, NY.
