Rev. Goodman Forsythe, born and reared in Clark county, was found dead in bed yesterday morning at his home northeast of Oliver in Edgar county. It is thought death resulted from a second stroke of paralysis, the first occurring more than a year ago.

Mr. Forsythe was born in Clark County, a son of Benjamin Bradford and Martha Anderson Forsythe. He had resided near Oliver for more than forty years. In 1881 he was united in marriage to Margaret Laufman, who survives.

Eleven children were born to the marriage, one of whom is deceased. Those living follow: Mrs. Opal Hendrickson, Clark county; Arlis of Metcalf; Harriett of Chicago; Ernest of Redmon; Mrs. Nettie Parrish of Elbridge; Mrs. Ethel Wright, Keefer and Joe Forsythe of Terre Haute, Mrs. Elva Quinn of Oliver and Russell of Dennison.

Also surviving are three brothers, James of Gary, Ind., Norman and Ben of Marshall; two sisters, Mrs. Lucy Hall of Marshall and Mrs. Eva Dempster of Denver, Colo.; thirty-one grandchildren ad four great grandchildren.
