Jimmy Arrowood, 68, of Alto died Tuesday at his residence.

He was born in Anderson, S.C., the son of the late Ed and Ora Lewallen Arrowood. He served in the U.S. Army and was retired from Cornelia Broom Co. as a supervisor with 35 years of service. He was of Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his son, Mitchell May; three brothers; and three sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Crocker Arrowood, Alto; daughters, Deborah Lalonde, Toccoa, and Angie Dill and Dianne Davis, both of Baldwin; son, Robin May, Cornelia; sister, Eva Mae Moore, Cornelia; brother, Frank Arrowood, Mount Airy; 15 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday, March 25, 2004, at Baldwin Congregational Holiness Church. The Rev. Austin Kelley and the Rev. Sanford Kimbrell will officiate. Burial will be in Wade Cemetery. The Rev. Avery Mote will officiate at graveside services.
