Mr. Joseph Harvey Sr., age 71, died on Thursday at his residence after a short illness. He is a Bulloch County native and a retired railroad worker.
He is survived by his wife, Lessie Harvey of New Jersey; three children, Joseph Harvey Jr. and Julie Nelson, both of Concord, N.C. and Elise Johnson of Statesboro; one sister, Patrice J. Gonzalez of Delaware; 10 grand-children, three great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Robena Raymond Memorial Chapel at Craig R. Tremble & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Craig R. Tremble officiating. Burial will be at the Eastside Cemetery in Statesboro. Craig R. Tremble & Sons Funeral Home.
