ELKTON - George Richard McDonald, 79, died Tuesday morning at the Rockingham Memorial Hospital.
He was the son of Lewis and Edith Crawford, McDonald, born Nove. 28, 1881 near here.
Mr. McDonald was a former employe of the Norfolk and Western Railway and the C & W. Railway.
He is survived by three sons, Grover, Floyd and Roy, all of Elkton; three daughters, Mrs. Robert Sipe, McGaheysville; Mrs. W. E. Shifflett, South Carolina; and Mrs. Wilford Meadows, Elkton; 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
The body is at the Brill Funeral Home pending funeral arrangements.
