Sarah Rucker July 11, 1933 - January 31, 2011 Sarah Rucker, 77, was born in Sacramento, CA, to parents George and Mildred Kayser. She passed away in Bakersfield on January 31, 2011. She had three sisters and one brother. Sarah was a great wife, mother, sister, and friend. She was selfless, always putting others first before her own, and would do anything for anyone. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Rucker. Life is short, enjoy it all and everyone. Chapel service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, February 4, 2011, at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 9101 Kern Canyon Rd. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 3, 2011, at Greenlawn Memorial Chapel, 3700 River Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association .
