Fuel Co. Official Succumbs to Short Illness
FRANCIS HENRY BESWICK, 62, secretary and treasurere of Conklin and Sons Co., local fuel dealers, died at him home at 1910 Jefferson st. early today, after an illness of about two weeks.
Mr. Beswick was born in 1868 in Janesville, and was educated in the Janesville schools. He is a graduate of the Selsby Business college at Janesville.
Forthy-three years ago, Mr. Beswick came to Madison as a bookkeeper with the Conklin firm. He has been with that company ever since, working himself up from the position of bookkeeper to that of secretary and treasurer.
He is survived by his widoow, MRS. LIONA B. BESWICK, one daughter, MILDRED, of Madison, and one brother, CLARK BESWICK, of Delavan.
Mr. Beswick was a member of Madison Masonic lodge No. 5 and of the Loyal Order of Moose, Madison chapter.
Funeral services will be held at the Masonic temple, probably Saturday. Complete arrangements will be announced later.

Masonic Service Will Be At Temple At 1:30 p.m.
Funeral services for Frank Henry Beswick, 62, secretary-treasurer, and manager of Conklin and Sons Co., local fuel dealers, will be held at 1:30 Saturday afternoon from the Masonic temple.
Honorary pallbearers will be William J. Conklin, Joseph M . Boyd, George Nelson, Fred H. Rogers, M. Lemon, and Neill Fox. Active pallbearers will be Paul Pierce, John Goetz, Oscar A. Kampen, John Doyle, J. J. McManamy, and Paul F. Irwin.
