Glenn E. Lucas, 76, of Pearl Street, died Tuesday, February 1, 2011, at 10:02 p.m. at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.

Glenn retired from Cummins Engine Company, attended Seymour Community Church and was an Army veteran.

The funeral will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Frank Holt officiating. Family and friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until time of service Monday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Glenn was born in Brown County, January 11, 1935, the son of Herman and Gladys Deckard Lucas.

He married Leona Bailey August 13, 1958. She preceded him in death March 21, 1995.

Survivors include a brother, Marshall (Judy) Lucas of Scipio; a sister, Alma Stott of Columbus; a stepdaughter, Shirley Hatchett of Indianapolis; and several nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; brothers, Raymond, Elza, Marvin and Doyle Lucas; sisters, Irene Fields and Shirley Bowling; and a son, Darrell Lewis.
