Mother: Cecil Mary Christensen Andersen (1855- )born Denmark. They came to America through the port of New York. Three of the Julia's siblings were born in Denmark. Julia is a twin to Julius Andersen.

Married: Jesse M. McCain, 21 Dec. 1910, at Marne, Iowa. Jesse was born 2 Sept. 1882 in Shelby Co., Iowa. He died 1956 in Atlantic.

Julia and Jesse had two daughters, Naoma Myrle and Verda L.

Julia and Jesse farmed in Shelby and Cass counties until they retired and moved to Atlantic.

Julia was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church in Atlantic. At the time of her death she had six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
