Oscar Dale McCleland, 94, of Prairie Grove died Feb. 1, 2011, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. He was born Aug. 12, 1916, in Fayetteville to Benny A. and Nellie Cameron McCleland.
Survivors include three sons, James O. McCleland and Oscar Wayne McCleland, both of Prairie Grove, and Gary R. McCleland of Fresno, Calif.; six daughters, Mary A. Craighead of Avenal, Calif., Betty Lou Heft ner of Cincinnati, Ark., Linda Faye Lindsey of North Vernon, Ind., Dorris Kay Lindsey of Prairie Grove, Margaret Ellen Collins and Melba Joyce Scamardo, both of Juneau, Alaska; 47 grandchildren; and 62 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was 2 p.m. Friday at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove. Burial was in Farmington Cemetery.
