ELWOOD WOMAN'S MOTHER EXPIRES
ELWOOD - Mrs. Martha Elliott Ackron, 75, of Noblesville, mother of Mrs. George Mangas, State Road, 37 South, Elwood, died Sunday at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Wayne. Mrs. Ackron was born in Sparta, Greece, and was the widow of George Ackron.
Surviving besides Mrs. Mangas are: two other daughters, Mrs. George Maliers of Portland, Ind. and Miss Ellen Ackron of Noblesville; a son, James, of Champaign, Ill.; a brother, Louis, of Sparta, Greece; a sister, Mrs. Thomas Chacopulusko of Tucson, Ariz.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Friends are being received at the Baird Funeral Home in Portland. Rev. Steve Pradromodes of the Holy Trinity Hellenic Church of Indianapolis will conduct services at the funeral home at 1:30 Wednesday afternoon. Burial will be in the Green Park Cemetery in Portland.
