Unity M. Denton Baker died in Grayson County on October 8, 1875. She was buried there in the Shrewsbury Cemetery in Shrewsbury. Their son James S. Baker, who was born on May 31, 1863, was buried there after his death on April 18, 1880. Hugh M. Baker died in Grayson County at the age of 90 years, 1 month and 17 days on January 4, 1910. He was buried with Unity M. Baker, who had preceded him there.
