Cookeville Herald June 9, 1932

W R Huddleston died at the home of his son, Eskel Huddleston Monday night after several months illness. The funeral services were held at the Smellage graveyard where interment took place.
He is survived by 2 sons, Robert and Eskel of Cookeville; 1 daughter, Mrs J W Medley of Old Hickory; 1 sister, Mrs J E Conger of Smithville; 2 brothers, John B and Jim Huddleston of Cookeville.
