MULLINS - S. T. Ammons, 62, a retired textile worker, died Thursday at a local hospital.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Woodlawn Baptist Church. Burial will be in Devotion Gardens, directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home.
Mr. Ammons was born in Marion County, a son of the late Lonnie Ammons and Mrs. Annie Turbeville Ammons. He was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Rodell Bass Ammons of Mullins; a son, Larry Ammons of Mullins; three daughters, Mrs. Helen Fisher of Conway, Mrs. Marjorie Caulder of Marion, and Mrs. Shirley Rowell of Mullins; four brothers, J. C. Ammons, Lonnie J. Ammons, Ralph Ammons and James Ammon, all of Chester; a sister, Mrs. Fred Hunsucker of Marion; and 10 grandchildren.
