CASAR Mrs. Phyllis Dianne Hager Brackett, 61, of 104 White St., died Friday, Dec. 20, 2002, at Carolinas Medical Center.
She was a retired licensed practical nurse with Upper Cleveland Medical Center in Lawndale where she served for 33 years. She also worked for Cleveland Memorial Hospital and Dr. Cecil Barrier. She was a member of Casar United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John William and Melvin Regina Falls Hager.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Gerald William Brackett of Casar; two sons, Scott Brackett and Tim Brackett, both of Casar; two sisters, Doris H. Rudisill of Lincolnton and Judy H. Gunter of McDonald, Tenn.; mother-in-law Gladys D. Brackett of Casar; and two grandsons, Devin Brackett and Josh Willis.
The funeral will be Monday at Casar United Methodist Church at 11 a.m. with the Revs. Larry Thompson and Keith Fulbright officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston.
