William Scott Brackett, 53, of 6119 Wards Gap Road, Casar, passed away Friday, June 5, 2015 at his home.
He was born in Cleveland County on May 5, 1962, to the late Gerald William Brackett and Phyllis Dianne Hager Brackett. He was a member of Casar United Methodist Church and worked for Brackett Oil Company. Scott enjoyed trading old cars and trucks.
He is survived by his son, Joshua Willis of Casar; brother, Tim Brackett of Casar; two grandsons, Dalton Smith and Luke Scruggs; and nephew, Devin Brackett of Casar.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Fallston. Condolences may be made online at www.stameytysingerfuneralhome.com.
